Managing Partner

Jonathan joined EJF in 2009, first as an analyst and then a portfolio manager covering the financial sector across the EJF platform. During this time, he led EJF’s bank-focused private equity effort, deploying over $550 million of capital and sitting on the boards of numerous banks, while also supporting the firm’s hedge fund and credit strategies. 

Jonathan launched EJF Ventures in 2021 and is responsible for sourcing and executing venture investments, serving on boards, and partnering with management teams to drive strategy and execution. He is currently a director on the boards of AlphaLedger, Prelim, Altius, and Lama AI and is an observer on the board of DeepSee.ai.  

Jonathan holds a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and was previously a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.
